Introducing Nexus Iceland Mobile App

Nexus Introduces a Two-factor authentication (2FA) according to digital services act. “By offering a seamless user experience while maintaining extreme security, this app opens up new possibilities,” says Malin Ridelius, Product Specialist at Nexus.

  • Using the new Nexus Personal Mobile app, every user will receive “Push notifications”, a clickable pop-up messages on their smartphones. Users can simply access their digital services (facts, data, opinions and content) across multiple platforms like computers, tablets or mobile devices.
  • “Then they have access to whatever resources you want to share simply by tapping the fingerprint reader or entering the PIN into the app,” says Ridelius.
  • Mobile 2FA is introduced to validate the user identity to access the organizational information as no seperate authentication hardware needed such as smart cards or one-time physical password (OTP) tokens.

As a digital transformation initiative, Organizations had moved to expensive and 2FA solutions to accelerate their digital services. You can also use alternate passwords as an authentication method to increase security, traceability, and control, making the user’s life easier says Ridelius.
